Uniforms for the Final Salute honors Unaccompanied Veterans when they pass away. Unaccompanied Veterans receive a dress uniform from their branch of service to ensure they are buried with honor and respect for serving our country.
An Unaccompanied Veteran is a term to describe veterans who are considered indigent, homeless, or those without family.
Uniforms for the Final Salute is a partnership between Goodwill Industries of Kanawha Valley, Inc. and our incredible sponsors:
Roark Sullivan Lifeway Center, LM Communications, Kanawha Valley Regional Transportation Authority,
Snodgrass Funeral Home, Mound/NuWay Cleaners, and the Donel C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans
Cemetery, to honor Unaccompanied Veterans by providing them with dress military uniforms when they pass away.
The public can help support Uniforms for the Final Salute by donating Dress Military Uniforms to any Goodwill location.
Yes! Your financial gift will help cover the cost of operating the Uniforms for the Final Salute program.
